National Museum of Taiwan History (hereafter abbreviated as NMTH) mainly collects documentary of Taiwan history that provides complete background information for various purposes, such as research, commemorating, exhibit, public services etc. Our mission is to promote Taiwanese cultural history through collection, research, education and to interchange with foreign history to reinforce our culture development. NMTH library has categorized our database into sections such as service desk, brief information section, circulation & preservation sections, periodical catalog section, reference section, multimedia section, study area section and extensive research section.

List of 4 major information services provided by NMTH Library are as follows:
1. Provide resources for curators’ research needs.
2. Provide business need specialized information to NMTH curators.
3. Depending on the theme of the exhibitions, NMTH provides related information as technical and general references.
4. Collects any related information documents to strengthen the development of Taiwanese cultural history.

NMTH library has simply categorized our database into sections for easier access on site, for example, service desk, brief information section, circulation & preservation sections, periodical catalog section, reference section, multimedia section, study area section conference room.

	‧   Library staff ‧   Visitor requires a valid photo ID for entry. Borrowing book on the other hand, is not permitted. ‧   Please keep your voice down. No food or drink is allowed in the library
