The Shop around the Corner

There are always small shops at the corners of streets and alleys, standing in place for decades as constant presence while we grow old. They also bear witness to the social dynamics and the rise and fall of industries.
This special exhibition showcases 9 pieces of works by illustrator Jia Dong Lin as the collaborative works for the National Museum of Taiwan History's Watch Taiwan multi-year project. These detailed and emotionally rich artworks take audience back to the nostalgic moments of mom-and-pop stores in our memories.
The exhibition combines the Space-Time Travel Agency of Taiwan Culture Memory Bank 2.0, an online Curating Platform (https://curation.culture.tw/). By using the on-site QR code or searching the keyword "The Shop around the Corner," visitors can access the complete articles of the 9 selected pieces.
