From Freeway

National Freeway No. 1→ Exit at Yongkang Interchange (Head towards Tainan) → Zhongzheng N. Rd.→ Yongan Rd. (Changhe Rd. after Yongan Bridge) → Changhe Rd.→ Cross over the Donghe Bridge→ National Museum of Taiwan History (around 15 minutes)

Tainan Railway Station→ Head west on Chenggong Rd

Ximen Rd.→ Turn right onto Zhongzheng S. Rd.→ Zhongzheng N. Rd.→ Yongan Rd.→ Donghe Bridge → National Museum of Taiwan History (30 minutes)

Tainan Railway Station→ Head west on Chenggong Rd

Gongyuan Rd.→ Pass by Tainan Park→ Anhe Rd. (County Highway 19) → Turn right onto Changhe Rd. → Renai Bridge → National Museum of Taiwan History (40 minutes)

【By Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) train： Get off at Tainan Station】

1. By taxi: The taxi ride to National Museum of Taiwan History is approximately 35 minutes.

2. By train (Passengers may use the corridor on THSR Tainan Station 2F to reach TRA Shalun Station, transfer to the TRA Shalun line, then reach Tainan Station, Yongkang Station, and others): Find Shalun station (沙崙站) beside Tainan THSR station, then buy a ticket to Tainan station (around 25 mins). After exiting Tainan Station, go to Bus Station (Tainan Train Station), take bus 5、18 → get off at the Heshun Bus Station(around 60 mins), the museum will be across the road. 

3. By train (Passengers may use the corridor on THSR Tainan Station 2F to reach TRA Shalun Station, transfer to the TRA Shalun line, then reach Tainan Station, Yongkang Station, and others): Find Shalun station (沙崙站) beside Tainan THSR station, then buy a ticket to Yongkang station (around 40 mins). After exiting Yongkang Station, go to Yongkang Bus Station beside it, take bus 20 → get off at the Heshun Bus Station (around 25 mins), the museum will be across the road.

【By Train, Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA)： Get off at Tainan station】

1.By taxi: The taxi ride to National Museum of Taiwan History is approximately 25 minutes.

2.By bus: After exiting Tainan Station, go to Bus Station (Tainan Train Station), take bus 5、18 → get off at the Heshun Bus Station (around 60 mins), the museum will be across the road.

【By Train, Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA)： Get off at Yongkang station】

1. By taxi: The taxi ride to National Museum of Taiwan History is approximately 15 minutes.

2. By bus: After exiting Yongkang Station, go to Yongkang Bus Station beside it, take bus 20 → get off at the Heshun Bus Station (around 25 mins), the museum will be across the road.

【By Highway Bus 】

1. By taxi: Get off at the National Museum of Taiwan History.

2. By bus: After arriving Yongkang Bus Station (Temporary Stop), take bus 5 → get off at the Heshun Bus Station (around 15 mins), the museum will be across the road.

3. By bus: After arriving Tainan Bus Station, take bus 18 → get off at the Heshun Bus Station (around 45 mins), the museum will be across the road.

1.Bus 5 travels Ximen Rd., Chihkan Tower, Minzu Rd, Tainan Train Station, National Cheng Kung University, Cheng Kung University Hospital(Sheng-Li Rd.), Kun Shan Senior High School, Chi Mei Medical Center, Yongkang Bus Station(Temporary Stop), Heshun Bus Station.

2.Bus 18 travels Shinkong Mitsukoshi Department Store, Tainan Train Station, Tainan Bus Station, Heshun Bus Station.

3.Bus 20 travels Pingshi Park Parking Lot, Kun Shan University of Technology, Yongkang(Yongda Rd.), Yongkang Train Station, Tainan University of Technology, Heshun Bus Station, Taikang Cultural Center.             

1.YouBike station is located at the intersection of Sec 1., Changhe Rd. and Guanqian 1st Rd. 

2. Bicycle racks are located near the Ticket Booth at the Exhibition & Education Building.
